Hello welcome to the Gorechessclubnz2025 

I have set up this website, to create a followimg of Chess in Gore  Southland  New Zealand 

My biggest intention is to get emails and phone numbers of players that enjoy playing a live game , person to person ,old school.

The new 2025 Club has brand-new tournament level equipment.and is looking for members and it's new champion.

The dream would would be to have 20- 30 live games a year .and for one of our members to walk away with the champions trophy.

At present we are recruiting our members

it's cold and wet in Gore so our location is at the Gore Library, thanks to the Gore District Council.and there Great library staff.
